How to set-up Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) to work with the Collaboration Server

With this component, Zimbra integrates directly with the Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) allowing Over The Air (OTA) synchronization between the Zimbra Server and all BlackBerry devices. The solution uses standard BES software and there is nothing to install on the Blackberry handsets.

At this time, In-Tuition does not offer a shared hosted version of BES. We can provide a dedicated server with BES installed, although this is usually only cost effective for larger organisations with 20 or so users – please contact us for pricing. It is also possible to use your own BES installation and access the Zimbra server remotely – a number of customers are already doing this.
